Q: How do I get a booking?
A: Once you’re approved, we’ll assign jobs based on your availability, preferences and experience. You’ll get shift invites via our work scheduling platform, and you can choose to accept or decline.

Q: How do payments work?
A: Families pay a confirmation fee (20%) through our platform upon booking - this doesn’t come out of your pay. You’ll receive your earnings from the family you were assigned via cash/e-transfer at the end of your shift.

Q: Am I an employee or an independent contractor?
A: Babysitters on our platform are independent contractors, meaning you set your own hours and choose which jobs to accept. However, you are responsible for your own insurance as well as reporting your earnings for tax purposes.

Q: What should I do in case of an emergency?
A: Your safety and the child’s safety are our top priorities. If an emergency arises, contact the parents immediately. If it’s serious, call 911 first, then notify the parents and our support team and follow the standard CPR/First Aid protocols.

Q: Can I decline a job if I don’t feel comfortable?
A: Yes! You are never required to accept a job. If a family or job request doesn’t feel right for you, you can decline it without penalty.

Q: Are there any rules or guidelines I need to follow?
A: Yes, all babysitters must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which includes maintaining professionalism, arriving on time, following family instructions, and ensuring the child’s well-being at all times. We will send you the Code of Conduct once your application has been approved.

A: We provide:
✔ 24/7 support for any work-related issues

✔ A community of vetted babysitters for networking and advice

Q: How do I update my availability or preferences?
A: You can update your availability directly in our work scheduling app. Keeping this up-to-date helps us match you with bookings that fit your schedule.

Q: Can I work for multiple families?
A: Yes! You are free to accept multiple babysitting jobs as long as they don’t overlap. We encourage babysitters to build relationships with multiple families for steady work.

Q: What if I have a problem with a family or job?
A: If you ever feel uncomfortable or encounter an issue, contact our support team immediately. We take babysitter concerns seriously and will mediate any disputes or remove problematic families from our platform.

Q: What happens if a family cancels?
A: If a booking is cancelled, we’ll let you know right away. We’ll prioritize you for the next available booking that matches your schedule.
